Android is one of the greatest Linux -based operating system.It is vast widely and primarily used for smartphones,tablets and computers.Google acquired android in 2005.Android is an open source and Google releases its code under the Apache licence.android has a wide large community of  developers writing applications and creating new applications day by day.U wont believe that ,there were more than 700,000 applications and downloaded it from Google Play,android's main application store.
